The four-day event focuses on the theme “Eurasian Synergy: Unity of the Peoples of Russia in an Era of Global Change.” It brings together students, policymakers, and professionals to exchange views on global economic issues, business ideas led by youth, and the use of information technology in development.

During the forum, Ambassador Tirmizi spoke at a session attended by delegates and officials, including the First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region. In his remarks, he shared Pakistan’s position on regional cooperation and highlighted the need for stronger economic links among countries.

As part of his visit, the ambassador delivered a lecture at Ural State University of Economics. Students from Central Asia and South Asia attended the session. His talk, titled “Pakistan-Russia Relations and the Framework of Eurasian Connectivity,” focused on Pakistan’s role in linking regional markets and supporting trade routes. He also spoke about how young people can contribute to future economic planning and international relations.

The ambassador held discussions with students and young diplomats attending the forum. These exchanges covered current global political developments and the situation in the Middle East. He shared Pakistan’s efforts to support dialogue and reduce tensions in the region, noting that ongoing conflicts have effects beyond national borders.

The XVI Eurasian Economic Youth Forum provides a platform for young professionals to engage with global issues. It encourages dialogue on economic challenges and promotes cooperation among countries through youth participation. This year’s large turnout reflects growing interest in cross-border collaboration and the role of emerging leaders in shaping future policies.
