23rd March reminds to make country Islamic welfare state: Ansari

FAISALABAD, Mar 23 (APP)::State Minister for Commerce and Textile Industry Haji Mohammad Akram Ansari said that 23rd March was a day
to renew pledge for making Pakistan Islamic welfare state of the world.
Addressing the flag hoisting ceremony at Deputy Commissioner
Complex, he said the resolution adopted on March 23, 1940 had fixed
a clear target for Muslims of the sub-continent to get a separate
homeland where they could live independently and practice on Islamic principles. He said that Quaid-e-Azam after the adoption of the
resolution launched a historic movement and within a short span
of seven years the cherished objective was achieved.
He also remembered the sacrifices offered by forefathers and
said that nation should pay best tribute to those who had laid down
their lives for a separate homeland for Muslims of sub-continent.
He said that after achieving the objective of independence, we all
are now duty bound to work for its progress and prosperity.
He said that Pakistanis living in every corner of the world
were celebrating Pakistan Day.
He underlined the need for keeping alive the spirit of Pakistan Movement and said that only with this spirit, we can save Pakistan
from internal and external conspiracies and put it on road to progress
and prosperity.
Begum Khalida Mansoor MNA and Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani
also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, national flag was unfurled at Deputy Commissioner Complex
to mark the Pakistan Day. State Minister for Commerce and Textile
Industry Haji Mohammad Akram Ansari along with Deputy Commissioner
Salman Ghani hoisted the flag.
