ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 18 outlaws during various operations conducted across the federal capital, recovering drugs, liquor bottles and illegal weapons.
An official told APP on Wednesday that police teams from Karachi Company, Shalimar, Sumbal, Shams Colony, Khanna, Koral, Kirpa, Nilore and Bani Gala police stations apprehended 14 accused involved in different criminal activities.
He said the police also recovered 1,020 grams of narcotics, 40 liquor bottles, nine pistols and one rifle along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused while further investigations are underway.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched against proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested four more criminals, the official added.
The official reiterated that Islamabad Police remain committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and will continue indiscriminate action against those involved in illegal activities.
