ISLAMABAD, Nov 16 (APP): The 15th International Public Health Conference 2025, organized by the Health Services Academy (HSA), will be held in Islamabad on November 18, The conference, titled “The Next Generation’s Shield One Health, Vaccination, Adolescent Health & Climate Change,” will be inaugurated by Federal Minister for health Mustafa Kamal.
The conference is expected to serve as a major global forum in Pakistan for discussions on public health, pandemic preparedness, adolescent health, vaccination, climate change, and environmental safety. National and international experts, policymakers, and researchers will participate to deliberate on current and future public health challenges.
HSA Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan said the conference will be a historic step in integrating One Health Model approaches to ensure protection against epidemics, environmental risks, nutrition, and health security into a unified national strategy. He added, “The protection of the younger generation is Pakistan’s true future.”
Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan further said that the inaugural session will feature global and national experts, including representatives from UNICEF, WHO, FAO, and Nutrition International. Key topics of discussion will include One Health workforce development, food security, climate risk management, and immunization programs.
He emphasized that the conference will not only be significant from an informational and research perspective but will also provide a training platform for young researchers.
The event will strengthen Pakistan’s public health leadership at the global level and provide clear directions for future health policies, he added.
