ISLAMABAD, Oct 6 (APP):As many as 14,605 intending pilgrims under the Government Hajj Scheme have submitted the second installment of Hajj dues as the collection process commenced on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 10,000 intending pilgrims submitted the second installment through One-Link, while 899 paid the fee through bank cards and 3,612 opted for manual bank challans.
The online submission rate exceeded upto 75 percent after the launch of the Digital Hajj Portal, the spokesperson said. So far, Rs 9.3 billion has been collected as the second installment of Hajj dues.
It may be mentioned that October 20 is the last date for submission of the second installment under the Government Hajj Scheme.
The spokesperson said uploading the medical fitness certificate on the Hajj Portal is mandatory before submitting the second installment.
