KARACHI, Dec 24 (APP): The 139th birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, will be celebrated on Friday with due enthusiasm.
A change of guard ceremony will be held at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation.
The cadets of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul will assumed the guard’s duty at the Mazar.
Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, along with Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and members of the provincial cabinet will visit the mausoleum to place wreaths and offer Fateha.
The people from various walks of life would also visit the Mazar to pay tributes to Quaid-i-Azam on the occasion.
The electronic media including the radio and television channels would air special programmes on various aspects on the life and achievements of the Founder of Pakistan.
The newspapers will also bring out special supplements on the occasion.
Various academic, literary and other organizations will arrange programmes to mark the birth anniversary of the great leader.
There will be a public holiday.
