12 ICT Police Khidmat Centres deliver over 82,000 citizen services this year

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have released the performance data of their 12 state-of-the-art Police Khidmat Centres, highlighting the wide range of citizen services provided across the federal capital during the current year.

An ICT Police spokesperson told APP on Monday that the service centres, located at F-6, G-9, Diplomatic Enclave, H-11, Bani Gala, Chamber of Commerce, Sawan Garden, Khanna, G-14, Gulberg Greens, the DC Office and mobile facilitation vans, continued to provide efficient and citizen-friendly services under one roof.
He said the centres issued 21,160 character certificates, conducted 29,355 general police verifications and 977 vehicle verifications during the year.
The spokesperson said 13,321 tenants were registered, while 6,163 missing reports were lodged on citizens’ requests.
He said the centres also registered 727 domestic workers, 5,597 foreigners, and issued 4,911 exit certificates to foreign nationals.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said the F-6 Police Khidmat Centre had been further upgraded to provide improved facilities to citizens under one roof.
He said providing quality public services and ensuring prompt redressal of citizens’ complaints remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Police.
