ISLAMABAD, Nov 09 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 10 outlaws during an effective crackdown across the federal capital, ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property by curbing crime and apprehending criminal elements.
An official told APP on Sunday that police teams from Karachi Company, Sumbal, Kirpa, and Lohi Bher police stations arrested 10 accused during various operations.
The teams recovered 275 grams of ice, 30 wine bottles, and a pistol with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused, and further investigations are underway.
He said the crackdown is part of a special campaign initiated to arrest absconders and proclaimed offenders, which has led to the detention of several habitual criminals from different areas.
SSP Operations Islamabad stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital. “No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
