MULTAN, Dec 2 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that Multan metro bus project would be inaugurated soon as the development projects were government’s top priority for the welfare of the people.
He said that sense of deprivation among people of South Punjab would be ended and their living standard would also be improved through the uplift projects, initiated by the government.
He said that better and organized traveling facility would be available to people by completion of metro bus project, adding that the modern transport culture would be introduced.
He expressed these views while talking to Parliamentarians and PML-N delegations here on Friday.
The parliamentarians informed the Chief minister that the uplift projects have brought prosperity and development in South Punjab.
Shehbaz Sharif condoled with ex-MNA Sheikh Tariq Rasheed over the death of his mother and MPA Sultana Shaheen over death of her nephew.
Punjab Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana, MNA Malik Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, MPAs Haji Ehsan-u-Din Qureshi, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Rai Mansab, Mujahid Ali Shah, Chaudhary Abdul Waheed Arain and Saeed Ansari were also present on the occasion.
