ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Saturday expressed concern over the oppression being faced by innocent Kashmiris at the hands of occupation forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
The minister, in a message on the Kashmir Black Day, said the whole Pakistani nation extended full moral support to the Khasmiris as the Government of Pakistan and its people were observing October 27 as Black Day against the brutalities and illegal occupation of Kashmir valley by India.
She said October 27 was observed throughout the world as Black Day against the illegal occupation of India. She said IoK people had been facing massive human rights violations. Indian forces had unleashed atrocities on unarmed innocent Kashmiris but “our support to them will continue till the realization of their right to self-determination.”
She said the Indian army committed brutal acts every single day but the world’s silence against human rights violations carried out by India was regrettable and unfortunate.
The minister said,”We are highly concerned over the oppression of Indian forces and the illegal and inhuman use of pellet guns, chemical weapons on unarmed Kashmiris.”
She urged the international community to raise their voice against Indian atrocities and help the Kashmiris attain the right of plebiscite which had been guaranteed by the United Nation Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
