Marriyum expresses deep shock and grief over death of Munnu Bhai


ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP):Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb has expressed deep sense of shock and grief over the demise of Munoo Bhai, the renowned writer, intellectual, columnist, dramatist, journalist and a social worker.
In a condolence message issued here Friday she said that his death was a great shock, and national and social loss for every person endowed with a sensitive and compassionate heart.
She said that a child who came in this world in the small town of Wazirabad with the name of Muneer Ahmed Qureshi became Munoo Bhai due to his burning urge for service to humanity, love for mankind and an unremitting commitment to solve their problems. He earned fame in every discipline of knowledge and literature and instilled the spirit of quest and inquiry among the youth besides acting as a beacon of light for them. The establishment of ‘ Sundus Foundation’ by him for the children suffering from Anaemia is a flowing charity. The minister prayed to the Almighty for exaltation of the deceased and grant of fortitude and courage to the bereaved family to live without him.
