ABBOTTABAD, Jun 15 (APP): Adviser to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand, has urged young people to utilize modern technology and the internet in a positive manner to advance education, develop skills, secure employment opportunities, and promote business growth.
He was addressing the 8th edition of the Matrix Pakistan Youth Summit held at the Batagram campus of Hazara University.
The event was jointly organized by the District Youth Office Batagram, Matrix Pakistan, C-Suite Nexus Global, and Hazara University, with support from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Youth Affairs.
The summit witnessed the participation of more than 3,000 students from Batagram and surrounding districts. Speaking on the occasion, the adviser said that digital platforms are offering vast opportunities for youth, and their effective use can enable young people to acquire modern skills and compete in the global market.
He stressed that empowering youth through education, technology, and entrepreneurship is key to building a strong and prosperous Pakistan. He added that the provincial government is taking several initiatives to equip young people with modern skills aligned with current market needs.
The event brought together students, teachers, business leaders, policymakers, and young professionals, who discussed innovation, digital skills, entrepreneurship, and future employment trends.
During the summit, announcements were made regarding training programs, employment opportunities, and business support for youth. Outstanding contributors were also honored with the “Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Awards.”
