Two young girls die in Upper Dir road mishap

At least two young girls were killed and two others injured when a double-cabin vehicle plunged into a deep ravine after reportedly suffering brake failure in Gul Karo Dara, an area of Wari Tehsil in Upper Dir on Thursday.

PESHAWAR, Jun 11 (APP): At least two young girls were killed and two others injured when a double-cabin vehicle plunged into a deep ravine after reportedly suffering brake failure in Gul Karo Dara, an area of Wari Tehsil in Upper Dir on Thursday.
According to police, the vehicle was being driven by Najamuddin, son of Taj Muhammad, a resident of Gul Karo Dara.
The driver lost control over the vehicle when its brakes failed, causing it to fall into a deep gorge.
As a result, two young girls, Hoora Bibi, daughter of Umar Hayat and Ghazala, daughter of Sher Alam, died on the spot.
Two other children, Fahad, son of Sher Alam and Khushnoor, daughter of Asad, sustained injuries. They were immediately shifted to Wari Hospital for medical treatment.
Local residents participated in rescue efforts and helped transport the injured to the hospital.
