LAKKI MARWAT, Jun 12 (APP): At least two people were killed and several others injured in a reported suicide blast near a mosque in the Khairo Khel Pakka village area here on Friday.
According to Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat, the incident claimed the lives of eight-year-old Asma Bibi and 25-year-old Asad Ali, while multiple people sustained injuries.
Rescue officials said emergency response teams were dispatched immediately after receiving the report of the explosion and provided first aid to the injured at the scene.
The rescue teams later shifted all injured persons and affected individuals to District Headquarters Hospital Tajazai for further medical treatment and care.
Authorities have yet to release further details regarding the nature and circumstances of the incident, while response and assessment activities remain underway.
