DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 20 (APP): Superintendent of Police (SP) City Circle Muhammad Nauman conducted a security audit of the Darya Khan Bridge inter-provincial checkpost and directed police personnel to maintain strict vigilance and ensure thorough checking of all vehicles passing through the checkpoint.
The visit was carried out on the special instructions of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ziauddin Ahmed.
During the inspection, the SP reviewed the overall security arrangements and met officers deployed at the checkpost.
He instructed the personnel to conduct comprehensive searches of every incoming and outgoing vehicle, closely monitor suspicious individuals, and remain fully prepared to respond promptly to any unusual situation.
Muhammad Nauman said effective monitoring at inter-provincial checkposts plays a vital role in preventing the movement of criminals and maintaining law and order. He urged the officers to perform their duties with professionalism, vigilance and dedication to ensure public safety.
