Section 144 imposed on micro-photocopy shops, guides sales to curb cheating in SSC Exams

PESHAWAR, Apr 04 (APP): In response to ongoing 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar, the district administration has officially imposed Section 144 on specific commercial activities.
According to a notification released on Saturday, prohibits operation of micro-photostat businesses and trade of pocket guides or any other unauthorized supporting materials near examination centers. The measure was designed to curb cheating and eliminate illegal activities, ensuring that entire examination process remains transparent and merit-based.
The administration warned that any individuals found violating these restrictions would face rigorous legal consequences under existing laws. This move highlights a zero-tolerance policy toward unfair practices that could undermine integrity of academic assessments.
To further safeguard the process, the authorities have encouraged students and parents to remain vigilant and report any observed irregularities. The administration has assured public that all complaints will be met with an immediate response to maintain a fair environment for all candidates.
