ABBOTTABAD, Sep 01 (APP):A search operation to locate Irish tourist Alexander, who went missing while returning from Musa Ka Musalla Top in Siran Valley, resumed early Tuesday morning as rescue teams continued combing the difficult mountainous terrain despite rain.
The tourist had gone missing after visiting the 13,500-foot-high Musa Ka Musalla peak with another foreign tourist. A search operation was launched yesterday, with Rescue 1122 teams, police personnel, Forest Department officials and local volunteers taking part.
Around 200 people, including Rescue 1122 personnel, police officials and local volunteers, are participating in the ongoing operation to trace the missing tourist.
Rescue 1122 teams have moved from Khori towards the difficult terrain of Paracha, searching possible locations, mountain trails and other areas where the tourist may have travelled.
The search operation is being conducted in challenging weather and difficult mountainous conditions, with rain further complicating the efforts. Rescue officials said all available resources are being utilised to locate Alexander and ensure his safe recovery.
