PESHAWAR, Oct 17 (APP):On the directives of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Dr. Afaq Wazir spent the entire day with the bereaved families and distributed relief cheques totaling Rs 21 million among the parents of the deceased children.
Relevant officials and revenue authorities were also present on the occasion.
The heirs who have travelled to other districts for the burial of their loved ones will be provided relief cheques upon their return.
Meanwhile, teams of the district administration are verifying the lists of injured children so that financial assistance can also be provided to all injured children within a day.
According to Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Afaq Wazir, the district administration Peshawar stands with the bereaved families during this difficult time and continues to take measures to support the affected families.
