RPO inquires after health of injured cops, Rescue 1122 personnel of Aman Mela attack

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken on Wednesday visited police and Rescue 1122 personnel injured in the terrorist attack on the Aman Mela joint checkpost and inquired about their health.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 30 (APP): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken on Wednesday visited police and Rescue 1122 personnel injured in the terrorist attack on the Aman Mela joint checkpost and inquired about their health.
According to police spokesman, District Police Officer Dera Ziauddin Ahmed accompanied the RPO during the visit.
The RPO asked about the medical treatment being provided to the injured personnel and prayed for their speedy recovery.
He lauded the courage of the police personnel, saying they were standing firm against terrorists to protect the lives and property of the people.
He said the sacrifices rendered by police personnel for maintaining peace and protecting citizens were a matter of pride for the entire nation.
The RPO said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police would continue to perform its duties without fear and remain committed to making every possible sacrifice for the protection of the people.
He also assured the injured personnel that the police department stood by its men in difficult times and would continue to support them. He directed that the injured personnel be provided with the best possible medical care and said no negligence in their treatment would be tolerated.
Maken said the fight against terrorism was not merely a battle for the police but a struggle to protect peace, the people and the state.
He said the sacrifices of martyrs and the bravery of injured personnel further strengthened the resolve of the police force to confront terrorism.
