Rescue 1122 responds to 86 emergencies ; search for missing girl in River, Swat enters 12th day

The Rescue 1122 teams responded to 86 emergencies between June 15 and June 21, the officials sources said on Monday highlighting the emergency service’s ongoing efforts across the district.

MALAKAND , Jun 22 (APP):The Rescue 1122 teams responded to 86 emergencies between June 15 and June 21, the officials sources said on Monday highlighting the emergency service’s ongoing efforts across the district.
According to District Emergency Officer Nasir Khan, the incidents included 60 medical emergencies, 13 fire-related cases, and seven road traffic accidents. Under the referral service, 37 patients were transported to the hospitals.
Meanwhile, a search operation for a 13-year-old girl who  drowned near the Fishing Hut area of the Swat River entered its 12th consecutive day.
The rescue teams  continued search efforts, while water rescue personnel remained on alert at Totakan and Pul Chowki.
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson urged the residents to exercise caution near rivers and waterways and advised the public to contact the emergency helpline 1122 in case of any emergency.
