Rescue 1122 responds to 200 emergencies over last weekly

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Aug 17 (APP):Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded to 200 emergencies of different types during the last week, providing timely medical assistance and safely transporting patients to hospitals.
The operations were carried out under the directions of Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director General Shah Fahad and Director Operations South Region Imran Khan Yousafzai, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi.
According to the weekly performance report the Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat received a total of 3,181 calls during the week.
Of these, 1,543 were unnecessary or fake calls, while 1,442 were informational calls.
Rescue teams responded to 164 medical emergencies, 29 road traffic accidents, six incidents involving fights and gunshot injuries, and three recovery operations.
A total of 200 patients were provided medical assistance and safely shifted to hospitals.
Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 also provided services through its referral service, responding to 62 emergencies.
Of these, 15 patients were transported within the district, while 47 patients were shifted to other districts.
