Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 04 (APP):Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan organized a special fire safety training and awareness session at the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office here to enhance the staff’s preparedness to deal with fire emergencies.
The session was held on the directions of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Fahad and Director Operations South Region Imran Khan Yousafzai, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Dera Ismail Khan Muhammad Arif Khan.
During the training, Rescue 1122 personnel briefed NADRA officials and staff on basic firefighting techniques, safe and timely response to fire incidents, and the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire balls.
The participants were also informed about different types of fires and appropriate methods to control them. Practical demonstrations were conducted to familiarize the staff with firefighting equipment and emergency response procedures.
The rescuers emphasized the importance of ensuring personal and public safety during emergencies, immediately informing Rescue 1122 in case of a fire, and adopting necessary preventive measures to minimize the risk of fire-related incidents.
The NADRA officials and staff appreciated the Rescue 1122 team for conducting the training session and termed such programmes instrumental in strengthening institutional safety and promoting public awareness about fire prevention and emergency response.
