Rain temporarily disrupts power supply on 83 Pesco feeders
PESHAWAR, Oct 06 (APP):Rainfall in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa temporarily disrupted power supply on 83 feeders of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) region on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson, power supply was affected on 19 feeders in Peshawar, 13 in Khyber, nine in Swabi, 29 in Mardan and 13 in Swat.
Power supply on all remaining feeders is being maintained as per routine, the spokesperson said.
Pesco chief Akhtar Hameed Khan had directed the company’s operational teams to remain on high alert in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
Repair and restoration work has already started in areas where the rain has stopped, while maintenance teams will begin restoration work in other affected areas as soon as rainfall subsides, he added.
The consumers advised to call the company’s helpline at 118 for complaints related to electricity supply.
