Pride of KP awards announced for Battagram; Six outstanding individuals to be honoured
PESHAWAR, Jun 06 (APP):The prestigious Pride of KP Awards have officially been announced for Battagram, where six exceptional individuals will be honoured for their outstanding contributions to society, leadership, innovation, education, entrepreneurship, and community development.
The award ceremony is being organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Metrix Pakistan and District Youth Office Battagram as part of the 8th Edition of the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit, scheduled to take place on 15 June 2026 in Battagram.
The Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit is being held under the patronage of Taj Muhammad Tarand, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The summit is a joint venture of District Youth Office Battagram and Metrix Pakistan, organized in collaboration with C Suite Nexus Global, Thrive Pakistan, and RankingGrow.
Recognized as one of the province’s leading recognition platforms, the Pride of KP Awards aim to celebrate individuals whose dedication, achievements and service have created a positive impact in their communities.
The initiative continues to highlight inspiring stories from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while encouraging young people to pursue excellence in their respective fields.
This year’s event marks the fourth edition of the Pride of KP Awards. The awards have previously been organized successfully in Malakand, Peshawar, and Haripur, where distinguished individuals from various sectors were recognized for their exceptional achievements and contributions.
Over the years, the awards have earned a reputation as one of the most respected and impactful recognition platforms in the province.
According to organizers, the objective of the awards is to promote a culture of leadership, innovation, volunteerism, and community service by honouring local role models who are making a meaningful difference in society.
By showcasing these success stories, the initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of changemakers and encourage positive social development across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Applications are currently open for residents of Battagram across a wide range of categories, including Sports, Entrepreneurship, Education, Technology, Innovation, Social Impact, Community Service, Leadership, Women Empowerment, Arts & Culture, Media, Healthcare, Public Service, Volunteer Work, and other areas of contribution.
A total of six outstanding individuals will be selected and honoured during the grand award ceremony on 15 June 2026.
The event is expected to bring together government officials, youth leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, social activists, media representatives, and community stakeholders from across the region.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their nominations through the official registration portal at www.prideofkp.pk/register. The last date for registration is 12 June 2026.
