PESCO restores power to 72 rain-hit feeders
PESHAWAR, Sep 25 (APP):The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) said on Friday that electricity supply to 72 feeders in its region was temporarily disrupted due to rainfall during the night.
According to a PESCO spokesperson, 26 feeders in Peshawar, 15 in Khyber, 24 in Bannu, five in Mardan and two in Swat were affected by the rain.
PESCO teams were carrying out repair work on the affected feeders and power supply would be restored shortly, the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that electricity supply was continuing normally through all other feeders across the PESCO region.
Consumers could lodge electricity-related complaints by calling the PESCO helpline at 118, he added.
