PESHAWAR, May 04 (APP): The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has introduced a QR code-based system to facilitate online electricity bill payments, a spokesperson for PESCO said on Monday.
According to the spokesperson, QR codes have now been printed on electricity bills, enabling consumers to pay their dues conveniently from home by simply scanning the code.
PESCO consumers can use any banking application, as well as mobile wallets such as JazzCash and Easypaisa, to complete their payments through the QR code feature.
The spokesperson advised consumers to verify their name and address on the bill before scanning the QR code to ensure accuracy.
He further added that receiving a confirmation message after making an online payment serves as proof that the bill has been successfully paid.
