Opium crop cultivated on 41 kanals in Mohmand destroyed

PESHAWAR, Apr 06 (APP):Police in Mohmand  district on Monday destroyed an opium crop cultivated on 41 kanals of land at Prang Ghar area.

 According to the Mohmand Police spokesperson, successful operations against drugs are ongoing across the district under the directives of DPO Mohmand, Raza Muhammad.

The operation supervised by SDPO Circle Prang Ghar, Farhad Ali and police team including SHO Munsif Khan, SI Khan Rahman, ASI Saddam Khan, and other personnel, along with the district administration was held at Qawal Manro Upper Umar Khel area.

During the operation, opium crops spread over approximately 41 kanals of land were completely destroyed.

The district police stated that such actions against narcotics will continue without discrimination, and strict legal action will be taken against those involved. DPO Mohmand praised the police team and administration for the successful operation and directed them to continue coordinated and effective measures to rid society of the menace of drugs.
