KOHAT, Jun 15 (APP): A man was killed and another sustained injuries in a firing incident at Peshawar Chowk on Monday, triggering a swift response from law enforcement agencies.
According to police sources, unidentified assailants opened fire before fleeing the scene. As a result, Muhabbat Khan, a resident of Mian Gaan Colony, died on the spot, while Mushtaq, a resident of Tull, suffered gunshot wounds.
The injured man was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment. Police said his condition was being monitored by doctors.
Following the incident, law enforcement personnel cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace and arrest the attackers. Police have initiated an investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting and bring those responsible to justice.
