The ninth edition of the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit will be held on September 15 at Abbotabad, bringing together students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, educators and business leaders from across the country.

PESHAWAR, Aug 20 (APP): The ninth edition of the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit will be held on September 15 at Abbotabad, bringing together students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, educators and business leaders from across the country.
The summit is being organised by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with Metrix Pakistan, with the District Youth Office Abbottabad as the organising partner. The event will be hosted at COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus.
The main theme of the summit is “Let’s Build a Productive Pakistan”, with the programme centred on education, skills development, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and opportunities for young people.
The event will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, an exhibition, awards and much more, providing participants with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and engage with people working across different sectors.
A notable feature of this year’s summit will be the participation of leading Pakistani entrepreneurs and company CEOs.
Among those expected to attend are Ammad Ali, CEO of RankingGrow; Qaisar Akash Khan, CEO of C-Suite Nexus Global;
Aisha Zahoor; and Kashif Ali, CEO of TechKhwa. Organisers said several other prominent business leaders and CEOs are also expected to join the event.
Their participation is expected to give students and young entrepreneurs an opportunity to hear directly from people who have built careers and businesses in Pakistan and to discuss entrepreneurship, technology, employment and the changing demands of the professional world.
The local arrangements for the summit are being led by District Youth Officer Abbottabad Bushra Masroor, in coordination with Hassan Nisar, CEO of Metrix Pakistan.
Presence of business leaders was an important part of the summit because young people needed direct access to people with practical experience, Hassan added.
“An event like this should not remain limited to speeches from a stage. We want young people to meet entrepreneurs, ask questions, understand how businesses are built and learn from the experiences of people who are working in the market today,” he said.
He added that the summit was designed to connect young people with knowledge and opportunities while encouraging them to think about their role in Pakistan’s economic and social development.
Abbas Khan Afridi said the participation of entrepreneurs and CEOs could help young people gain a more realistic understanding of the professional world.
“Exposure matters when young people interact directly with entrepreneurs and professionals, they get the opportunity to understand the challenges, failures and opportunities that are often not visible from a classroom,” he said.
The summit will also feature the Pride of KP Awards and Content Creators Awards, recognising individuals for their achievements and contributions in their respective fields.
An exhibition will provide participating organisations and institutions with an opportunity to showcase their work, while workshops and panel discussions will address issues relevant to students, young professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The organisers expect participation from Abbottabad and surrounding districts as well as young people from other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
