MNA Fatehullah Reviews Development Projects, Stresses Timely Completion in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 17 (APP): Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence, Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel, chaired a high-level meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Friday to review the progress of ongoing development projects and public welfare initiatives across the district. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan, heads of government departments and other relevant officials. During the meeting, departmental heads briefed the MNA on the status of ongoing and recently completed development schemes, implementation of public welfare projects, challenges hindering progress, and plans. The participants also discussed measures to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining transparency and quality standards. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel said public welfare and the development of Dera Ismail Khan remained among the top priorities of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He appreciated the performance of government departments and said effective coordination among institutions was essential for completing development projects on schedule and delivering improved public services. He also acknowledged the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan in closely monitoring development schemes and said stronger coordination between the district administration and elected representatives would further accelerate the pace of development. The MNA said he was actively pursuing the approval of several major development projects and special federal funds for Dera Ismail Khan in the federal capital. He expressed confidence that the district would soon receive positive news regarding new development initiatives and funding aimed at improving infrastructure, expanding basic public services and addressing the problems faced by local residents.
