Minister reviews progress on Gravity Water Flow Scheme

PESHAWAR, Jul 10 (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) Fazal Shakoor Khan on Friday chaired a meeting to review progress on Gravity Flow Water Supply Scheme of district Mansehra.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Public Health Engineering Department Masood Younis, Project Director and other concerned officials.
During the meeting, participants were given a comprehensive briefing on the project’s overall progress, ongoing construction activities, financial and technical matters, key challenges and the proposed way forward.
Project Director apprised the provincial minister of the various phases of the project, the implementation timeline and the progress achieved so far.
Addressing the meeting, the minister said that provision of safe, clean and sustainable drinking water to the people of district Mansehra remains one of the foremost priorities of the current KP government.
He emphasized that the concerned water supply scheme will play a vital role in ensuring a reliable and sustainable supply of clean drinking water to the residents of the area.
He directed the authorities concerned to further accelerate the pace of work and ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the highest quality standards.
