A local religious personality, Maulana Mamoon Rashid was killed and at least four others injured after gunfire erupted between two groups following a minor dispute in Malyan locality of Nissata area in district Charsadda on Sunday.

PESHAWAR, Sep 13 (APP):A local religious personality, Maulana Mamoon Rashid was killed and at least four others injured after gunfire erupted between two groups following a minor dispute in Malyan locality of Nissata area in district Charsadda on Sunday.
According to police, the incident occurred shortly after the Fajr prayers, spreading fear and panic in the area.
Police said Maulana Mamoon Rashid died on the scene, while several others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said, further details, including the exact cause of the firing are yet to be determined.
