KPCTA launches awareness campaign for tourists’ safety

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has launched a special campaign to ensure the safety, guidance, and awareness of tourists. 

PESHAWAR, Jul 03 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has launched a special campaign to ensure the safety, guidance, and awareness of tourists.
As part of this initiative, launched on the special instructions of Malik Adeel Iqbal, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism, and Shahid Khan Mohmand, Director General of the authority.
Various teams comprising Authority officials are distributing informational brochures and providing guidance regarding tourist destinations in areas such as Chakdara, Swat, Kalam, Bab-e-Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Chitral, Kalash, and other locations.
Shahid Khan Mohmand of the Tourism Authority has stated that teams are deployed in the field to advise people to stay away from rivers and to ensure other safety measures are followed in the Hazara and Malakand divisions. Tourists can contact the tourism helpline (1422) or the provincial government’s emergency line (911) around the clock before visiting any tourist destinations.
Essential guidelines and informational pamphlets are being distributed to raise awareness among domestic and foreign tourists visiting the tourist sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcomes tourists visiting its tourist destinations. He said that tourists are being provided with pamphlets containing essential guidelines—covering safe travel, responsible tourism, and precautions against potential hazards—along with emergency numbers and other necessary instructions, to ensure a safe and excellent travel experience.
