KOHAT, Jul 2 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has directed WAPDA officials to immediately halt unnecessary and unscheduled power load-shedding in Kohat to provide relief to the public.
The minister issued these directives while presiding over a meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office to address the severe power crisis in the region.
During the meeting, the participants held a detailed discussion on the prolonged, unscheduled load-shedding, the resulting difficulties faced by the public, and issues related to power supply management.
Minister Shafi Jan asserted that providing basic amenities to the citizens is the top priority of the provincial government. He emphasized that any negligence in this regard would be met with strict action.
He urged WAPDA authorities to utilize all available resources to improve the power supply system and ensure the immediate resolution of public complaints, stating that the public deserves an uninterrupted power supply.
