PESHAWAR, Apr 06 (APP):The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched the “Ehsaas Fuel Support Program” to provide financial relief to registered motorcycle and scooter owners across the province.
Under the scheme, eligible applicants will receive a monthly fuel subsidy of Rs. 2,000 to help ease the burden of rising fuel prices, particularly for low-income segments.
According to the official release, only those applicants will qualify whose motorcycle or scooter is registered in their own name and whose ownership transfer process has been fully completed.
Vehicles that are unregistered or registered in someone else’s name will not be eligible, it added.
Applicants can register through the “Dastak App” by downloading it from the Play Store or App Store.
After creating an account, users are required to enter all necessary details including personal information and details of vehicle.
Applicants must upload relevant documents including a copy of their CNIC, vehicle registration book or smart card, a clear photograph of the vehicle, and verification from both buyer and seller in case of ownership transfer.
The verification process will be carried out through e-Sahulat, followed by scrutiny from the Excise and Taxation Office (ETO). Applicants will be informed whether their request has been approved or rejected.
