KOHAT, Jul 29 (APP): As part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s “District Service Delivery” initiative, the district administration of Kohat convened a public open court (Khuli Katchery) in the Shakardarra area of Lachi tehsil to directly address public grievances regarding law and order, clean drinking water, health, education, electricity, and gas utilities.
Addressing the gathering, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MPA and Chairman of the District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Kohat, Daud Shah Afridi, emphasized that resolving public issues remains the top priority of the provincial government, he noted that direct engagement between citizens and the administration enhances public delivery mechanisms and accelerates development progress. DC Muhammad Nawaz Wazir assured attendees that applicants would be regularly updated on the progress of grievances submitted during the court.
Afridi inspected the ongoing construction work on the Gargaroo Kandao bridge in Shakardarra, directing officials to complete the project on schedule and adhere strictly to quality standards.
He added that road development works on Zerkoi and other key link routes have commenced, with tangible results expected in the coming months.
