PESHAWAR, Sep 30 (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved grants-in-aid for the District Bar Associations of Muzaffarabad and Sialkot as part of its measures to support the legal community.
Provincial Minister for Law, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam distributed the approved grant cheques among representatives of the two bar associations.
Advocate General KP Shah Faisal Utmankhel, Law Secretary Akhtar Saeed Turk and Additional Advocate General Mudassar Ejaz were also present on the occasion.
The initiative aims to help address the issues faced by the legal community, support bar associations and provide necessary facilities to institutions associated with the legal sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Aftab Alam said the KP government stood with the legal community and remained committed to upholding the rule of law.
