PESHAWAR, Jun 08 (APP):Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Director Agha Khan Fund for Economic Development, Sultan Ali Allana on Monday held an important meeting and agreed to form joint working teams to facilitate the establishment of an Agha Khan Hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the prospects and requirements for setting up the hospital in detail. The leaders agreed that dedicated joint teams would be constituted to accelerate the planning and implementation process.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said the provincial government would move forward with the project on a priority basis and provide all possible support and facilities to ensure its successful establishment.
The meeting also discussed investment opportunities in data centers and explored potential collaboration in several key sectors, including sports, minerals, natural resources and mining.
In addition to healthcare development, the participants exchanged views on promoting tourism and attracting investment in the tourism sector across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The proposed Aga Khan Hospital is expected to strengthen healthcare services in the province and contribute to broader economic and social development through increased investment and improved public facilities.
