KP CM inaugurates Abbottabad park

PESHAWAR, Aug 29 (APP): Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi inaugurated the state-of-the-art Abbottabad Park, developed over an area of 702 kanals at Shimla Hill.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the park during his visit to Abbottabad.
On the occasion, local government minister Meena Khan Afridi, member of the national assembly Ali Khan Jadoon, and members of the provincial assembly Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and Iftikhar Ahmad Khan were also present alongside the Chief Minister.
During a briefing, the Chief Minister was informed that Abbottabad Park features 30 eco-friendly baradaris and a 365-meter-long zip line. The park has a total of 13,000 trees, including 6,000 newly planted trees. No trees were damaged during the construction of the park.
The park also includes a dedicated play area for children and a cricket ground. For visitors, six walking tracks have been constructed, along with separate mosques for men and women.
For the convenience of visitors, a large restaurant and cafeteria have also been built within the park. Three parking areas have been established, providing parking space for up to 250 vehicles.
