KDA Seals 10 illegal buildings in Kaghan Valley for building code violation

The Building Control Unit of Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) sealed 10 illegally constructed buildings during an operation in different parts of Kaghan Valley.

KAGHAN, May 12 (APP): The Building Control Unit of Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) sealed 10 illegally constructed buildings during an operation in different parts of Kaghan Valley.
According to officials, the raid was carried out on the directives of Director General KDA Rahmat Ali. Inspection teams visited Batakundi, Jhapran, and Rajwal areas to review ongoing construction activities and check compliance with approved building plans and KDA regulations.
During the operation, 10 under-construction buildings were found violating KDA laws and approved maps, after which they were sealed by the authorities. The concerned individuals were warned that breaking official seals or continuing illegal construction activities could lead to legal action, including a fine of up to Rs1.5 million and imprisonment for up to three years.
Officials of Kaghan Development Authority said the crackdown against illegal constructions would continue without discrimination to preserve the natural beauty, environmental balance, and organized tourism system of Kaghan Valley.
