Health minister holds meeting with KfW specialist
PESHAWAR, Jul 22 (APP): Provincial Minister for Health Khaleeq ur Rehman held a meeting with Health Sector Specialist, KfW , Dr. Masuma Zaidi to review progress of KfW-supported health sector initiatives and to discuss future collaboration for strengthening healthcare services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary Health Fayaz Ali Shah and other senior officials of the Health Department.
During meeting, Dr. Masuma Zaidi presented a comprehensive overview of health sector initiatives supported by KfW in KP over the years.
The minister appreciated KfW’s continued partnership with KP government and acknowledged its valuable contribution towards improving healthcare infrastructure, strengthening health systems and enhancing service delivery across the province.
Speaking on the occasion, health minister said that KP government is committed to modernizing the health sector through digital transformation, improved primary healthcare and strong partnerships with development partners.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to ensuring effective coordination with KfW and all development partners to accelerate health sector reforms and achieve sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery across KP.
