Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has recovered 3.6 kilogram hashish and arrested three including a lady smuggler in two separate operations here Saturday.
Hashish recovered, three including woman arrested
PESHAWAR, Jul 10 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has recovered 3.6 kilogram hashish and arrested three including a lady smuggler in two separate operations here Saturday.
According to details, the first operation was conducted at Hayatabad Gol Chowk where a female was intercepted and searched by a lady constable leading to the recovery of 2,400 grams of hashish from her possession.
In the second incident, excise department recovered 1200 grams of hashish during checking on motorway. Two persons identified as Nasir and Naveed were arrested on the spot.
Cases have been registered against the arrested and investigation is underway.
