Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday held a meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam here at his residence to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, political developments and other matters of mutual interest.

PESHAWAR, Sep 28 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday held a meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam here at his residence to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, political developments and other matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence Sardar Fatihullah Khan Miankhel, National Democratic Movement (NDM) chief and former MNA Mohsin Dawar, PPP Parliamentary Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ahmad Kundi, PML provincial Information Secretary Rehmat Salam Khattak, MPA Sobia Khan and former senator Bahramand Tangi.
The participants exchanged views on the prevailing security situation, political uncertainty and other issues, and deliberated on a number of proposals.
The leaders expressed serious concern over the rising incidents of insecurity in the province and termed the worsening situation a result of what they described as the provincial government’s failure to maintain law and order.
