Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday said that although Pakistan is facing multiple challenges, the country’s youth possess the potential to transform these challenges into opportunities through modern education and skills.
Governor Kundi urges youth to turn challenges into opportunities through education
PESHAWAR, Apr 07 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday said that although Pakistan is facing multiple challenges, the country’s youth possess the potential to transform these challenges into opportunities through modern education and skills.
Addressing the annual convocation 2026 of Pakistan Educational Foundation (PEF) University College as chief guest at the Governor House, he emphasized that education is not merely about obtaining degrees but carries a greater responsibility of serving the nation.
The ceremony was attended by Director PEF Engineer Hidayatullah Khan Khawar, Deputy Director Dr Shagufta, faculty members, students and their parents.
The Governor awarded degrees to 60 graduates in DPT, HND, ADA and Business Administration programs. Two students were awarded gold medals for outstanding performance, while Dr Aila and Hamza Jamshed received special awards. Muhammad Shaheer Khan was declared Best Student of the Year.
Congratulating the graduates, Governor Kundi said their success was a matter of pride not only for them but also for their parents and teachers, whose dedication and guidance played a vital role in their achievements.
He said that stepping into practical life marks the beginning of a new journey and urged students to move forward with determination and focus on the future rather than dwelling on the past.
The Governor also appreciated the role of PEF in promoting quality education in the province over the past 34 years.
On the occasion, Director PEF Engineer Hidayatullah Khan Khawar thanked the Governor for hosting the convocation at the Governor House and encouraging the students. He also presented a commemorative shield to the Governor.
