PESHAWAR, Aug 03 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday expressed deep grief over the death of senior journalist Mudasir Shah Afridi and the demise of the young son of senior journalist and National Press Club member Shakir Solangi.
Paying tribute to Mudasir Shah Afridi, the Governor said he was a courageous and dedicated journalist who rendered valuable services to national and international media over several decades.
He said his contributions to professional journalism and public interest reporting would always be remembered.
In a separate condolence message, Governor Kundi expressed heartfelt sympathies with Shakir Solangi over the death of his son, terming it an irreparable loss. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and strength and patience for the bereaved families.
