PESHAWAR, Mar 30 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, on Monday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in rain-related incidents across various districts of the province.
The Governor extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the 17 deceased, including children, and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the 56 injured.
The Governor directed the district administration and relevant authorities to ensure immediate relief to the affected families and provision of the best possible medical care to the injured.
He urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel during the ongoing adverse weather conditions and to strictly follow the advisories issued by concerned authorities to prevent any further loss.
