Governor distributes 150 wheelchairs among PWDs

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday distributed 150 wheelchairs among Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), calling the initiative a commendable step toward serving humanity.

PESHAWAR, May 14 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday distributed 150 wheelchairs among Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), calling the initiative a commendable step toward serving humanity.
He said this in a ceremony organized by Dr. Sanaullah Chairman Welfare Foundation for the distribution of wheelchairs among persons with disabilities. Chairman of Disabled Welfare Association Karachi Tariq Masood also addressed the event.
The Governor appreciated the initiative and thanked the organizers for providing more than 150 wheelchairs to PWDs.
He said the Governor House and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were grateful for the support extended to the province’s vulnerable communities.
Faisal Karim Kundi said that the organization had come from Karachi to help reduce the hardships of people in the province, calling it highly commendable.
He stressed that serving humanity was the highest form of service and collective efforts were essential to support and empower persons with disabilities, ensuring their inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunities in society.
He added that the Governor House remained open for serving humanity and urged other provinces to establish dedicated ministries for persons with disabilities.
