Governor condemns IED blast on police vehicle in Lakki Marwat
PESHAWAR, Mar 13 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday strongly condemned the IED blast targeting a police vehicle in the tribal sub-division of Lakki Marwat.
The Governor expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of six police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO), in the incident.
He extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and said the sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for the establishment of peace in the country would always be remembered.
Governor Kundi said such cowardly acts of terrorism could not weaken the resolve of the nation. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured police official.
He said the sacrifices of police and security forces would not go in vain and the collective struggle against terrorism would continue until its complete elimination.
The Governor also prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyrs and patience for the bereaved families.
