Four arrested for desecrating graves in search of hidden treasure

MANSEHRA, May 17 (APP): Police have arrested four persons for allegedly desecrating graves in search of hidden treasure at Ratwali graveyard in the jurisdiction of Garhi Habibullah Police Station, officials said on Sunday.

According to police sources, the accused were involved in digging and damaging graves at the cemetery located in Garhi Habibullah in an attempt to find buried treasure.

The arrested suspects were identified as Sawab Khan son of Khayal Din, a resident of Hangu; Muhammad Manzoor son of Muhammad Ayub, resident of Dalola; Muhammad Saqib son of Fazal Ahmad, resident of Khushala; and Usman Ali son of Muhammad Javed, resident of Malikpura, Abbottabad.

Police registered a case against the accused at Garhi Habibullah Police Station and started further investigation. Officials said more details are expected to emerge during interrogation of the suspects.
