FATA University holds workshop on exercise, nutrition and healthy lifestyle

PESHAWAR, Sep 08 (APP):FATA University organized a one-day workshop on “Exercise, Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle” for students, faculty members and administrative and support staff on Tuesday.
The Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and the Directorate of Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) jointly arranged the workshop to raise awareness about physical fitness, balanced nutrition, regular exercise and healthy living.

Muhammad Bilal Marwat, Assistant Director (Sports) at The University of Agriculture Peshawar, served as the guest speaker.
He highlighted the importance of making exercise part of daily life, consuming a balanced and nutritious diet, and adopting healthy routines.
He said regular physical activity improves physical fitness while also contributing to mental well-being, energy levels and overall performance.
Speaking at the concluding session, FATA University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohsin Nawaz said a healthy body forms the foundation of an active, successful and productive life.
He urged students, teachers and staff to give due importance to exercise and balanced nutrition, noting that physical and mental health directly influence academic and professional performance.
The vice chancellor appreciated the QEC and ORIC for organizing the workshop and said the university would continue such activities to promote the well-being and awareness of its students and employees.
He also presented commemorative shields to Muhammad Bilal Marwat in recognition of his participation and valuable guidance.
